About the Cremer Lab
The research group led by Advanced Clinician Scientist Dr. Anjali Cremer focuses on new therapeutic strategies for patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Despite current advances in treatment, many adult patients experience relapse of the disease. By applying a multi-omics approach, as well as innovative screening strategies and complementing the results with clinical patient samples and data, the AG Cremer aims to identify new oncogenic transcriptional networks in acute lymphblastic leukemia (ALL). Based on their results they intend to find new targeted treatment strategies in particular for patients with relapsed or refractory ALL and for certain genetic subtypes with poor overall survival rates.
