EGFR-Targeted Therapy in Patients with Solid Tumors Harboring EGFR Fusions (+/- EGFR Amplification)
As a clinical trialist at UCT Frankfurt-Marburg, Dr. Althoff's work focuses on thoracic oncology and the development and clinical testing of innovative treatment concepts for lung cancer. Her main project is the multicenter Phase II Investigator Initiated Study NeoTRACE, which she initiated as LKP and which investigates perioperative therapy with an antibody-drug conjugate in combination with immunotherapy in resectable non-small cell lung cancer. In addition, she played a leading role in a multicenter retrospective cohort study of the sotorasib compassionate use program, which analyzed its efficacy in KRAS G12C-mutated lung carcinomas. This is supplemented by proteomic analysis of KRAS-mutated NSCLC tumor samples to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic approaches. She is also actively involved in the national, multicenter, prospective CRISP registry study, which systematically collects real-world data from lung cancer patients in Germany, thereby making a significant contribution to health services research.
