Weber / Translational Epigenetics Lab
The Translational Epigenetics Lab focuses on epigenetic alterations in tumors at the interface with clinical translation. One focus is the calculation of DNA methylation patterns of both primary and secondary brain tumors and their integration with genomic, proteomic, and clinical data. This aims to achieve a more precise subtyping of tumors. Another focus lies on studying changes in histone modifications and the nucleosome that promote the malignant transition of primary brain tumors.
