The analysis of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is gaining an increasing role in the diagnostics of neurooncological diseases. Through innovative methods such as nanopore sequencing of cell-free DNA and T cell receptors from CSF, Dr. Svenja Klinsings research project aims to progress the analysis of CSF for diagnostics and therapy monitoring as well as to discover prognostic and predictive biomarkers. This research will lead to a more personalized medicine in the future.
