Dr. Tonio Brinkschmidt is a Clinician Scientist in the Oellerich Lab, dedicated to unraveling the biology of hematologic neoplasms with the goal of translating scientific discoveries into clinical benefit. State-of-the-art multi-omics technologies such as proteomics, genomics, and single-cell sequencing are combined with integrative bioinformatics to gain a deeper understanding of these diseases, uncover mechanisms of therapy resistance, and identify prognostic biomarkers. In this way, diagnostics and targeted molecular as well as cellular therapies are advanced, fostering the development of innovative treatment strategies.
