About the Flinner Lab
The Flinner Lab seeks to understand the relationships between cell morphology, function, and underlying molecular characteristics. To do so, deep learning and quantitative image analysis are used to link and predict various characteristics with morphology.
With the aim of closely linking research with clinical practice and improving diagnostic decision-making, tools are being developed that support healthcare professionals and quickly provide information about additional characteristics of a tumor, e.g., based on routinely prepared H&E sections.
