Careers in Cancer Research

The UCT aims at promoting young cancer researchers on all career levels by hosting research programs for clinical (Clinician Scientists) and non-clinical researchers (Medical Scientists).

The programs of the Mildred Scheel Career Center (MSNZ) and the Else Kröner-Forschungskolleg (EKFK) provide the framework for protected research times in daily clinical routine. Accompanied by educational and supportive programs, clinician scientists and medical scientists encounter excellent conditions for the implementation of their projects. The young cancer researchers benefit from excellent research infrastructure and interdisciplinary exchange within the Frankfurt Cancer Institute (FCI) and actively contribute to the advances in translational cancer research by the Frankfurt scientific community.

Additionally, the DKTK School of Oncology of the DKTK partner site Frankfurt/Mainz provides an established network and supports the interaction of clinician and medical scientists with cancer researchers beyond the local research community.
